What is hreflang?
An HTML attribute that tells Google which language and region each version of a page is for, so Arabic users get the Arabic page and English users get the English one.
Do I need x-default?
It is optional but recommended. It tells Google which page to show when none of your languages match the user.
Should every version list all the others?
Yes. hreflang must be reciprocal: each version lists every version, including itself. Missing return links are the most common hreflang error.
